From June 11 to 13, the 18th SNEC International Solar Photovoltaic and Smart Energy Conference and Exhibition was held at the Shanghai National Convention and Exhibition Center. During the event, the European Association for Energy Storage Technologies (EAEST) awarded CEEG a Senior Membership certificate. EAEST Secretary-General Mr. Qiu and Deputy Secretary-General Ron van der Julia attended the award ceremony, with Dr. Lu Han, Chairman and President of CEEG, accepting the certificate.
This move signifies that CEEG's technological strength and market influence in the energy storage field have received high recognition from an international authoritative organization.
Deeply Cultivating the Energy Storage Market to Achieve Remarkable Results
As one of the largest and most professional photovoltaic and energy storage events worldwide, SNEC PV+ 2025 attracted over 3,600 companies from nearly 100 countries and regions. CEEG showcased its advanced technologies and innovative products in the energy storage field comprehensively at this exhibition.
In recent years, CEEG has actively expanded its presence in the energy storage industry, increased R&D investment, and achieved remarkable results in the energy storage market with products such as advanced integrated energy storage PCS and boost transformer and rectifier transformers for hydrogen production, as well as its deep technical expertise in power equipment manufacturing.
CEEG provides stable and efficient energy storage solutions for domestic and international customers, successfully delivering several large-scale energy storage projects such as the South Africa photovoltaic-storage integrated project, the Zhada energy storage project in Tibet, and the Aletai energy storage project in Xinjiang. Its products are also exported to Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and other regions, establishing a high-quality "Chinese energy storage" brand image in the international market.
The recent membership in the European Energy Storage Association not only recognizes CEEG's existing achievements but also offers strong support for further expanding its energy storage market in Europe.
Empowered by authoritative associations, showcasing industry value
The European Association of Energy Storage Trade (EAEST), established in the Netherlands, is a professional international cooperation platform built through consensus among multiple EU governments and organizations on new energy and energy storage industries.
The platform operates on the principle of "mutual promotion and collaborative creation," integrating resources from the renewable energy sectors across Europe and globally. It aims to establish a high-level, distinctive strategic cooperation model to provide dialogue opportunities for renewable energy companies worldwide. Currently, EAEST has over 200 members, including leading companies such as Schneider Electric Germany, the Italian National Grid Corporation, and Portugal's EDP Energias de Portugal.
Mr. Qiu, Secretary General of the European Energy Storage Association, stated that CEEG's achievements in technological innovation, product reliability, and market expansion are well recognized and that the company has made significant contributions to advancing the global energy storage industry.
Looking ahead, CEEG plans to leverage the platform resources of the European Energy Storage Association to gain in-depth understanding of the European energy storage market demands, strengthen technical cooperation and project connections with local European companies, and promote the widespread application of its energy storage products and solutions in Europe. This will contribute Chinese wisdom and strength to the development of the global energy storage industry.
As the global energy transition accelerates, energy storage—being a key technology to support large-scale renewable energy development and ensure stable power system operation—has broad market prospects. The recognition by the European Energy Storage Association positions CEEG advantageously in the global energy storage market competition and enables it to make greater contributions to advancing the world's green energy transition.
