PRODUCT OVERVIEWS
The KBSG series mine explosion-proof dry-type transformer innovatively introduces active heat dissipation tube technology. By optimizing the cooling design and adopting a zoned high-efficiency heat dissipation scheme, the transformer’s cooling performance is significantly improved. This effectively slows down the aging process of insulation materials and further enhances the long-term stability and reliability of the product.
Performance Features
Low Loss and Low Noise:
The partial discharge amount is less than 5 pC, which improves product reliability and results in low noise.
Heat Dissipation
Equipped with additional active heat dissipation tubes and an innovative zoned cooling structure, the transformer’s thermal performance is greatly improved. This design helps slow the aging of insulation materials and enhances the product’s reliability and stability.
Flame Retardant
The top features an arched corrugated design, and the sides are open, preventing coal dust accumulation. This structure provides effective flame retardancy and improves overall safety.
Explosion-proof
The cylindrical explosion-proof enclosure enhances the casing’s strength, allowing it to withstand pressure up to 1 MPa. This significantly improves the explosion-proof performance.
Easy Operation
A vertical tap adjustment handhole is provided on the high-voltage side, making equipment operation more convenient. This design reduces safety risks during operation and improves user-friendliness.
Compact and Scalable Design
The transformer chassis adopts a frame-type structure, saving space and offering a compact layout that facilitates installation and future expansion. It also supports axle distance and center-of-gravity adjustment to adapt to various working environments.
Manufacturing Process
Insulation
Uses the DuPont™ Nomex® paper insulation system from the United States, ensuring greater safety and reliability.
Core
The core is made of high-quality, high-permeability grain-oriented silicon steel sheets, using a 45° full miter step-lap joint technique. Its surface is treated with a special moisture-proof and rust-proof coating, effectively reducing no-load losses, no-load current, and noise levels.
High-voltage Winding
The high-voltage winding adopts a continuous structure with high mechanical strength and excellent heat dissipation, avoiding the disadvantages of traditional multi-layer coils such as high interlayer voltage, poor cooling, risk of thermal breakdown, and low mechanical strength. It is guaranteed to be free from cracking.
Low-voltage Winding
The low-voltage winding uses a series or large-current helical structure with longitudinal cooling ducts (National Patent No.: 002219069). It is formed into a solid whole through VPI (Vacuum Pressure Impregnation) varnishing, offering strong resistance to short circuits and impacts, and excellent moisture, dust, and salt spray protection.
Testing and Inspection Technology
Before delivery, the transformer undergoes strict testing in accordance with national standards. Partial discharge testing, lightning impulse withstand testing, and noise testing are treated as mandatory items.
Scope of Application
The KBSG series mine explosion-proof dry-type transformers are widely used in industries such as coal mining, steel, petrochemical, and metallurgy. They are especially suitable for hazardous environments where flammable and explosive gases (such as methane) or dust are present. Their explosion-proof and fire-resistant design ensure safe operation in harsh conditions, providing stable and reliable electrical support for mining, power, chemical, and other related fields.
