The KBSGZY Series Mine Explosion-Proof Dry-Type Transformer adopts a fully corrugated cylindrical explosion-proof enclosure. It utilizes two sets of three-phase power supplies with a 30-degree phase shift, replacing the traditional solution of using two separate transformers. This design offers advantages such as lower cost, smaller size, and comprehensive protection functions. Additionally, the transformer can communicate with explosion-proof variable frequency drives (VFDs) to enable real-time monitoring of operating status, fault isolation, and centralized control, significantly enhancing power supply reliability and operational efficiency. It is widely used in high-load, automated mining environments.

Performance Features

Heat Dissipation:

Patented Fully Corrugated Structure with Explosion-Proof Enclosure:

Increases heat dissipation area and enhances enclosure strength.

Explosion-Proof:

The enclosure can withstand pressures up to 1 MPa, providing superior explosion-proof performance.

Low Loss and Low Noise:

Partial discharge is less than 5 pC, which improves product reliability and results in low noise levels.

Compact Structure:

Compared to traditional dual-transformer power supply schemes, the equipment has a smaller size, making installation more flexible and convenient. It is suitable for underground mobile use.

Intelligent Monitoring:

Supports communication with explosion-proof variable frequency drives (VFDs), enabling operating status monitoring, fault isolation, and centralized control, thereby enhancing the level of automation.

Manufacturing Process

Winding

Uses VPI (Vacuum Pressure Impregnation) and baking curing processes to enhance the insulation performance and mechanical strength of the windings.

Safety and Environmental Protection

Utilizes DuPont Nomex® paper insulation system from the USA, which is recyclable, Class C heat-resistant, flame-retardant, and explosion-proof.

Robust and Reliable

Adopts an eight-point fastening method for strong and reliable structure; suitable for vertical shaft transportation under various working conditions, ensuring no lateral displacement of the core.

Professional Compatibility

The body adopts an oval structure with a low height and short length, suitable for meeting the spatial requirements of different mine environments.

Integrated Design Solution

Provides power to explosion-proof variable frequency drives (VFDs) and communicates with them to perform functions such as operating status monitoring, fault analysis, and centralized control.

Scope of Application

The KBSGZY Mine Explosion-Proof Dry-Type Substation is suitable for underground coal mine excavation work areas, especially in scenarios requiring power supply for 1140V and 3300V three-level explosion-proof variable frequency drive (VFD) systems. It is designed to meet the power supply demands of high-load, automated mining environments and is well-suited for the complex working conditions found underground. The substation is widely applicable in situations requiring long-distance power transmission, reduced voltage drop, and improved equipment operating efficiency.
